All of us at Bright Eyes Family Vision would like to welcome Ellen Petroczky, O.D. to our team of eye care professionals! Thanks to all of you, who believe in the mission of Bright Eyes Family Vision, our practice has grown and the demand for appointments has increased quickly over the last 5 years.
Dr. Pulsfus and Dr. Petroczky met through a mutual friend and we knew that she had the right values and the personality to deliver the Bright Eyes Family Vision experience to our amazing population of patients. Dr. Petroczky is seeing patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Born and raised in Freeport, IL, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Augustana College. Dr. Petroczky then attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, graduating with honors in 2007. While working at both ophthalmology and optometry offices in Northern Illinois, she gained experience in a wide variety of eye diseases and their treatments. When the opportunity presented itself to join the team at Bright Eyes Family Vision, she knew that it would be a good fit for her personality, values, and style of patient care.
She excels at getting to know each patient so she can help them find the best way to meet their visual needs. Outside of the vision world, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
